What causes ridges that run across your fingers and toe nails?

u need more fruit %26amp; veggies...or vitaminsWhat causes ridges that run across your fingers and toe nails?
Everyone has them to some degree. My understanding is that they're caused from growth patterns. No need to worry unless you get discolored nails or they fall off due to fungus. What causes ridges that run across your fingers and toe nails?
vitamin deficiencies If I'm not mistaking Vitamin B
I thought it had something to do with calcium
not enough calcium drink milk it clears it up for me just takes a while
Ridges or (corruguations) in nails occur when nail growth is uneven, usually because of illness or injury. Gentle buffing can minimize ridges. Try a Ridge Filler to help level the nail surface, making shallow ridges and other imperfections practically disappear while conditioning with Calcium and Pro-Vitamin B5.

Hope this helps! ~Bon
