Received a check and letter from Ridges financial services stating that I won ALL state lottery, is it scam?

I also deposited the check, what will happen?Received a check and letter from Ridges financial services stating that I won ALL state lottery, is it scam?
If any one recieves a check and a letter, doesn't pose any problem to him but has to really find out whether the check is genuine or not. However, he has posted the check in the bank and at best the check will get bounced. In such a case, he can have a solid ground to inform police about the event and police can trace out the person or a group which has sent the check. Over all the receiver doesn't have any risk other than a charge for bad check. However, he can still find out from the bank or by seeing the genuineness of the agency or group which has sent such a check. He can also find out if the check is genuine or not by getting the routing number and can go to the bank from where the check is issued.Received a check and letter from Ridges financial services stating that I won ALL state lottery, is it scam?
Yes it's a scam. I work in a bank and see things like this all the time. There is no such thing as free money. Sorry. Don't spend the money from the check. It will take a couple of weeks but will be debited from your account if it's bad.
Was there any mention of insurance in any of the papers they sent? I got something similar, the check was bogus and they wanted me to send them a check back for the same amount saying it was to insure the money being sent to me. Check with the bank in a few days and see if it cleared!!
Since you did not enter a lottery I would say its a scam, but then you deposit it, hey wait and see.
don't know but share the wealth with me.
If you actually played that lottery, it's possible that you really won. If you didn't play it, it's probably a scam. Be sure to read the fine print about the results of cashing the check. You might have signed up for some type of program or scam. Good Luck!
Sounds like a scam. You may have unwittingly agreed to some sort of offer by depositing their check.
Do some research on Ridges Financial Services before you draw any money off the check. Also, you could ask your financial institution about Ridges Financial Services and see what they say.
Come on!
