Getting ridges out of dried cement?

Anyone know how to 'shave off' 1mm random ridges in dried cement? What tools are required?Getting ridges out of dried cement?
Rent a side grinder and a few grinding wheels depending on the length of the ridges it should not take all that long to do.

Be sure you use saftey goggles and leather gloves for your personal protection SAFTEY FIRST.Getting ridges out of dried cement?
It depends on what the concrete base is to be used for. If it's for a conservatory,or shed then use levelling compound, also this can also be used indoors. It is costly to hire a concrete planer.

Hope this helps. have a nice evening
Hi - The cheapest way would be to use a carborundum brick.

They are about 225mm x 50mm x 25mm and you can buy them from tile shops ( they are used to smooth cut edges of tiles). Just rub the stone gently over the ridges.
Is it inside or outside, cos if its inside, you can use levelling compound.
You can hire a concrete planer from any hire shop but can be costly.

could cost 拢30-50 a day.

hope this helps.
