Why do aluminum cans have ridges?
Aluminum cans depend on those ridges for strength. Different manufacturers use different types of ridges in their can designs to distinguish the product as well. And in the process of filling these containers the ridges and can design help the cans move through assembly and production easier during mechanical handling. Why do aluminum cans have ridges?
