How are ridges on the lithospheric plate formed?

I'm trying to compose a review sheet, but all I'm getting is oceanic ridges. How are ridges on the lithospheric plate formed?
Oceanic ridges are raised because of their buoyancy. When they are formed, they are hot, so they are lighter than other parts of the plate and 'float' on the asthenosphere higher. How are ridges on the lithospheric plate formed?
Oceanic ridges are formed by the divergence of the plates and building up of magma on the surface, or by ocean-ocean plate convergence.

Continental ridges are formed by oceanic plate subduction or continent-continent plate collision.
