How does the age of acean sediment vary with distance from oceanic ridges?

2. How does tectonic activity affect landforms? How does the age of acean sediment vary with distance from oceanic ridges?
Although there are other ridges, the central ridge of the Atlantic Ocean shows increasing age of sediments and materials the further away you get from it on either side.

Techtonic activity somewhat deforms land forms, but not much, but affects the surface by producing volcanos from subduction.
